All my roses are cut back and new growth has started a few more and weeks and I will post lots of rose photos. Very tired tonight have a great week garden friends. Janis

Your roses look lovely Janis. I can't wait for things to start growing in my garden.
ReplyDeleteJanis,
ReplyDeleteYour garden would be a pleasure to see on any morning, any season. Your roses are going to be spectacular when they flush back out. This weather is waking everything in the garden up... so I'm thinking if you stared at it ~~ you just might see it grow.:-)
What is the blooming tree in the second photo? Looks a bit like a Jane Magnolia? Meems
Well, Janis, I have been staring and staring at my garden and yes, I think it's making it grow. Just a little, maybe:) Your garden looks very green and alive. I like all your edging plants. That's something I'm trying to do more of in my own garden.
ReplyDeleteYou have some nice blooms too. Beautiful camellia and petunia. I would like to know the name of that tree as well. It's pretty.
Hi Janis...I love that first photo overlooking your adorable cottage garden, and can't wait to see all your rose photos.
ReplyDeleteJust now found your blog and your absolutely charming cottage garden and your chickens! A friend has chickens but she lives in the country. I figured I couldn't because I live in a city subdivision, but hearing what the authorities told you about having "pets", I think I'll make a call to see if Ocala has the same policy. I don't have much (none?) room left since roses fill every spot, but I do have a place that would hold a proper chicken coop. How cool! Wonder if DH will go along. I'm your new follower!
ReplyDeleteJanis,
ReplyDeleteSaw the piece on Channel 8 the other night... you and your chickens were stars! So adorable they are... I want some! But you knew that. You did a great job.
