We really love Fall at my home and garden. Everywhere you look you see signs of Fall from my fence garland to the very happy roses below.
This is one of my favorites, White Christmas, just a perfect tea rose. The fragrance coming from my front yard stops side walk traffic.
Graceful Cottage Garden used to only grow floribunda roses, that was until I saw White Christmas and St. Patrick below at Hardens Roses in South Tampa.
If you live in Florida this is a must for a Tea Rose, this rose is St. Patrick and dries just like this and the petals do not fall off. Don't let the up coming holiday drive you crazy, stop and smell the roses. Pumpkin

I love your cottage and fence. Wow! Definitely right up my ally. I don't do well with tea roses. Yours are really lovely and I'd love to be able to smell them.
ReplyDeleteWe sure are having delightful gardening weather.
Happy Holidays ~ FlowerLady
I admire your roses. I just lost three of my tea roses over the summer heat. Are your tea roses growing on their own roots?
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love that St. Patrick rose. Does it have fragrance too? Your graceful cottage garden is always so pretty. I'm looking forward to asking you some rose pruning questions when I see you.
ReplyDeleteHi Janice...What two beautiful roses. Roses really do love the milder temps. Im always amazed at how much larger the flowers are in autumn and spring. Love your fence garland...very unique.
ReplyDeleteYou got me started on roses, darn you, but thank goodness you always have the answers when I have questions! I'm with Kay -- I will have pen and paper to take notes when I see you.
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to master the easy ones -- Knock Outs and antiques. Maybe someday I'll move up to the big boys. (But my starters have claimed my heart for now)
Flowerlady,Roses are a lot of work, I say stick with knockout roses.
ReplyDeleteAmi, they are on fortunia root stock. they say if they grow in Florida on there on roots they will die in about 3 years.
NanaK, Thank you, sometimes it just looks like a mess to me.
Susan,Got to love Autumn in Florida the roses do.
Penny, Stay with knockouts, they are so pretty in Florida. God Bless Janis
